September 8
Chair Yoga at 10 a.m., Perkins Park, Plattsburg, in the first shelter. Open to all ages.

September 10
3rd Annual Fight like a Princess Day at DJ’s Express Coffee in Smithville from 5:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Donate a toy or art supply in support of childhood cancer.

The Second Harvest Community Food Bank's pop-up mobile pantry will visit from 10 a.m. to noon at the First Baptist Church (500 W. Broadway).
 
September 11
Chair Yoga at 10 a.m., Perkins Park, Plattsburg, in the first shelter. Open to all ages.

September 12
Smithville Legion Riders #58 will host a biker ride to benefit veterans home fundrasier. The poker ride will start at 9 a.m. with kick stands up at 10 a.m. at Leon’s Biker Bar in Holt, Mo. It will be a 2-3 hour bike ride in a big loop. Food, drinks, live entertainment and more! Everyone is welcome. This is a family friendly event!

Spectators enjoy action, excitement, thrills and laughs in a wholesome envireoment as they root for thier favorite teams. The Ranch Rodeo begins at 7 p.m. at the Plattsburg Saddle Club (behind Plattsburg High School). Chicken chases for the little ones. Concessions are on the grounds.
Come out and enjoy an evening at the Saddle Club and watch the teams compete in Branding, Mugging, Sorting, Trailer Lodging, and Doctoring.

Turney/Lathrop Baby Grace Open House in the basement of Turney United Methodist Church on H Hwy.; from 10-11:30 a.m. Clothes and baby supplies are given to parents of young children, no questions asked. For more information call 816-664-2755.

September 11-13
Edgerton Pioneer Days Festival. CANCELED.

September 13
Scotch Doubles Pool Tournament at Easton’s Pub & Grub, will be held on Sunday, September 13. Sign-up at 11:30 a.m. with break at noon. Two-man teams with a twelve team cap.
Proceeds will be donated to the East Buchanan Lunch and Bulldog Buddies Program.

Edgerton Pioneer Days Festival- Sunday only. Friday and Saturday events are cancelled. All events are subject to change or be cancelled due to Covid-19 or weather.
Come enjoy coffee, lemonade, iced tea or water, donuts and fellowship in the Edgerton City Park from 9-10 a.m. The bucket Brigade Tractor Pullers will have a garden tractor pull at  the Masonic Lodge, 500 N Hines Ave. Starting at noon.  Pizza will be available for purchase on site. Seating is limited so remember your lawn chair. Elvis tribute artist Ben Johnson will perform from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the city park bandstand.
A special performance by Beatniks Dance Studio will be at 12:45 p.m. in the city park.

Check to see if events are canceled/postponed due to the COVID-19.
