It’s officially Homecoming week in Plattsburg, but thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, it won’t feel as welcoming as most years. Due to concerns over the pandemic, the Clinton County R-III School District won’t be holding a Homecoming parade, which would have traditionally snaked through town this coming Friday, September 18.
Also, Plattsburg High School’s Homecoming assembly will not be open to the public this year, but will rather include the students and possibly parents of students who are candidates and court members. The Plattsburg Tigers football team is set to face off with North Platte for the Homecoming game on Friday, September 18. Homecoming royalty will be crowned at halftime of the football game, while the high school will honor senior members of the football team and other activities before the game. |
