Region D Recycling & Waste Management District will be accepting applications for waste reduction and recycling projects. Applications are available online at www.regiondrecycling.com. Applications also available by calling Brenda Kennedy at 816-393- 5250 or email the request to [email protected] Grant proposals must address the state and district goals of waste reduction. The goal is to reduce the amount of trash buried in the landfill. Completed applications and supporting documentation must be post-marked by August 19, 2021. Grant monies are allocated to solid waste districts throughout the state from funds collected as tipping fees at Missouri landfills. 7/8c
