Coins For A Cure
During the month of April students at Ellis Elementary brought in change to donate to the “Coins for a Cure” campaign. The money was donated to the American Cancer Society through the Cameron Relay for Life event. Three teams will represent Clinton County R-III this year – two staff and the PHS Student Council. The event begins this Friday.
Ellis students raised a total of $1,207.57 which will be given to the Relay for Life of Clinton/DeKalb counties to benefit the American Cancer Society. The top three classes were Mrs. Grigsby’s class: $321.65, Mrs. Poindexter’s class: $232.97, and Mrs. Dunning’s class: $156.69.
