As COVID-19 vaccine becomes somewhat more available in rural northwest Missouri, Cameron Regional Medical Center (CRMC) will be assisting area County Health Departments with its administration to the public.
It should be noted that CRMC has not been designated as a public administrator of the COVID-19 vaccine. However, the Medical Center will be working closely with area County Health Departments to assist in the timely administration of their available vaccine. CRMC currently has 15 certified COVID vaccine administrators and will assist in apprising the public as Health Departments in the area schedule inoculation clinics. Individual websites for the County Health Departments in your area should be consulted for the latest on vaccine availability and distribution.
Area residents may call CRMC’s CARE Line at 816.649.3333 for further information on COVID-19 and general vaccine protocols.
The public is reminded, even after receiving the vaccine, CDC quarantine and contact tracing guidelines must be followed. In order to lessen the spread of COVID-19, mitigation measures should still be observed post-vaccination: 1) Wear a mask; 2) Maintain social distancing; 3) Wash hands frequently; and 4) Stay home when sick.
CRMC is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit facility serving eight to ten counties in rural northwest Missouri.
