The City of Plattsburg’s Public Works crew has been working overtime to combat service interruptions due to water line breaks. But the extra time hasn’t been the issue. Rather, it’s subzero temperatures that they’ve had to battle.
In particular, on Monday, February 15, around 11 p.m., the department received a call on a line break. The freezing work began around midnight and lasted until nearly 6 a. m. Tuesday, February 16.

Saling, sellers named LHS Royalty
Lathrop seniors Janelle Saling and Devin Sellers were crowned LHS Spring Fling Queen and King on Tuesday, February 22. Janelle is the daughter of Joni and the late James Saling and Devin is the son of Ray and Carrie Sellers.
More than 120 workers and volunteers came together on Saturday to carry out a mass vaccination at Cameron High School, the first of its kind in Clinton County.

Kelsey Bower and Linny Wilkinson were named East Buchanan Courtwarming Queen and King on Friday, February 4. Kelsey is the daughter of Jody and Debbie Bower, and Linny is the son of Linny and Rhonda Wilkinson.
