The Ladies of Deadwood, South Dakota
If you are planning a vacation, Deadwood, South Dakota, offers many interesting things to do a and see...The ladies of Deadwood are one of the many attractions round here.
Wardie Hines and her daughters, Rosalee Thomas and Beverly Meade returned home Sunday night after spending last week in Deadwood. S.D. They especially enjoyed seeing Mt. Rushmore and the film shown in the amphitheater there. In the dark after the film the audience was asked to stand, the flag raised and the Star Spangled Banner was sung as the lights were turned on the mountain carvings of the presidents. It was a most impressive thing to see. They enjoyed scenic drives in the Black Hills, over into Wyoming, an open train ride through the mountains, the mining operation and many shops in Keystone and of course all the many attractions in Deadwood.
